Macro on Monday - Guess What

First the answer to last week's puzzle - not a cucumber plant, not a corgette but definately Corkscrew Hazel. The large photo was of the first fruits my plant has produced - hazel nuts? Congratulations and a virtual gold star to John (Hedgeland Tales) for his correct identification.

On to this week's puzzle:
Guess What:

For those who like a cryptic clue: Messy glue dish B..

No prizes - just for fun.

  1. I also think shield bug, but I don't get the clue ...

  2. I know those little shield bug critters, they are all over my rhubarb, but they don't seem to eat it so I leave them there.

  3. That;s the first anagram I ever solved in my life! - so proud (if a little slow)

  4. Well, I am far slower than you, Matron! Thanks for "clueing" me in. ;-) Wilma

  5. How about a shield bug, in particular a Palomena prasina ;) It helps when others have already guessed and I can google the scientific term!

Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Any comment, or correction to any information or identification I get wrong, is most welcome. John
