Really bustling activity at the Birdy Bistro this morning.

To finish with, a Comma Butterfly which actually waited while I got the mobile phone near enough for a decent shot.

  3. Goldfinches are well-named ~ you've captured some gorgeous yellow feathers, and your Bistro is certainly still the 'in place' to be. The comma butterfly is stunningly set off by the 'pop' treatment :)

Any sign of the foal recently?

  4. It could have been sharper Adrian, otherwise I was very happy with the composition.

  5. It was a pity, Glo, that there weren't many adults about as their red heads would have made the colour contrast even better,
The Comma 'cried out' for popping as all the greenery was very distracting in colour.

  6. Glo. Forgot to say that I haven't seen the foal for a long time. Also these days it is a long walk for Bobby to go in that direction

  8. Hi again John - just noticed you've got a new species here (just kiding). You might want to check your post title :-)

  9. Thank for the proof reading Shirl ;) The spell checker doesn't work in the title area and I often forget to check it. I wonder if there is such a thing as a glodfinch.
