Friday at the Flicks - Female Blackcap

The male Blackcap has continued to visit the seed feeders fairly often. Much rarer are sightings of the female so it was pure luck I managed to take some video a couple of days ago:

Have a great weekend observing the wildlife around you.

    1. Roy - Thank you Roy. It was fortunate the feeder was close enough to get a clear shot.

    1. My pleasure Bonnie. I was lucky she stayed long enough to get a decent length of video.

  4. Thanks for bringing back memories of the Blackcaps visiting my garden. It’s been a few years now when they would pass through (heading South)for a few days during January. I loved the females visiting as they didn’t seem to be as aggressive to other birds as the male was. Nice video and a great visitor to your garden – enjoy.
