Visitors to the new Bird Table

Bird Table

It didn't take long for the locals to start using the new bird table.
First brave soul was a Robin:

Others included.....

female Blackbird:

Starling:

Great Tit:

and Chaffinch

I also noticed a Blue Tit but it was too fast for me. There were plenty of House Sparrows but they seemed to prefer the hanging feeder under the bird table.

Title was created with the Mac app Art Text 3 and the FeatheredFlight font.

  1. Lovely to see birds at your new feeder! Something is munching my fat balls (!) but I've not caught any perpetrators in feathery action

  2. It is always lovely when the birds find a new bird source so quickly. Lovely selection of bird species there - we rarely get Chaffinches or Starlings these days!

    1. RR: Not so many Chaffinches here as there used to be. Definitely fewer Starlings which makes the food last longer!

  3. Robin's are brave, I even have one come in to the potting shed looking for anything that might be on offer.

    1. Roy: Unfortunately the fat, greedy Wood Pigeons have found it so I need to make a few alterations.
