About 9.45 yesterday morning I saw Mrs Blue Tit eating egg shell.
The first one had hatched. By 7 p.m. it looked as though five of the eight eggs had hatched so far.
Great news about the hatching - as you say they are following a similar timetable to ours. We seem to have 7 at the moment although so difficult to count those tiny beaks!
