Quite bold for a small bird as it took no notice of the squabbling Starlings this morning.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-78842888623475633772013-03-27T17:23:14.139+00:002013-03-27T17:23:14.139+00:00I've seen them a few times Jan but visits are ...I've seen them a few times Jan but visits are well spread out. From memory it’s been fatcake/coconuts they have taken from your garden in the past. I wonder if you will see it again tomorrow - I might guess you'll get it for a week or so if you do. Enjoy :-)Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12956905954971466579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-65222943940272221522013-03-26T23:14:27.768+00:002013-03-26T23:14:27.768+00:00I suppose one of the only advantages to this chill...I suppose one of the only advantages to this chilly weather is the interesting bird species that are attracted to your garden. Hope that Blackcap sticks around for a bit longer for you.

We've got 3 Blackcaps visiting the garden at the moment (2 males, 1 female), and they particularly seem to like the fat cakes and suet pellets. I wonder if any of them will be left when the weather warms up a bit. I suspect not...
