My pet hate is people who insist on parking their cars on the footpath when the street is wide enough for two lorries to pass easily. You should see the speed some drivers zoom through the village even though there is a 30 mph speed limit.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-67607507271874453892010-10-16T07:43:41.788+01:002010-10-16T07:43:41.788+01:00Hello Glo. Great to see the rarer garden visitors.

I'm pleased you didn't say 'wrong side of the road' ;) Not only roundabouts but of course traffic is coming at you from the right at junctions as well.

The village has grown a lot in the 30+ years I have lived here and a lot of greenery has been cut down over the years.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-43325990921445130152010-10-16T07:40:12.060+01:002010-10-16T07:40:12.060+01:00Hello Jan. It is so random where birds like the Brambling arrive I guess we only see them in the garden occasionally.

The street was quiet for once. You should see it at school chucking out time ;)Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-8046093776398476752010-10-15T21:31:36.134+01:002010-10-15T21:31:36.134+01:00A very interesting drive around your village, John...A very interesting drive around your village, John. First impressions: The roads are narrow and it appears that there are cars parked/stopped on both sides regardless of direction; lots of hedges; our Aussie drivers would have to learn to go much slower!mickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08230845410313320080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-70754673468563778832010-10-15T20:17:24.928+01:002010-10-15T20:17:24.928+01:00It's always interesting to see wildlife busy a...It's always interesting to see wildlife busy at work, especially new visitors like your Bramblings.

I really enjoyed the drive, although it is odd for me to be in a vehicle traveling on the other side of the road! I took the trip with you twice just to get used to the idea, and I'll probably do it again ;)~ as long as I remember on which side to drive here. I saw no roundabouts, which are a worry for me, as we always check left, and you'd be checking right. Lots of greenery, trees etc. about ~ it looks a nice area.Glohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09532995590131801962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-17589083265024961002010-10-15T12:20:38.026+01:002010-10-15T12:20:38.026+01:00Lovely to see the Bramblings, I do wish 'mine&...Lovely to see the Bramblings, I do wish 'mine' would make a return visit.

I enjoyed my drive with you :) It was nice to get a flavour of where you live. I noticed how quiet the road was, we only seemed to pass a few cars. It's funny how the wheelie bins serve more than one purpose, I looked our road up on Google Street Maps recently and know it was filmed on a Wednesday as that is our wheelie bin day :)ShySongbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08148381873578585910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-8955550505852621832010-10-15T11:18:50.726+01:002010-10-15T11:18:50.726+01:00Thank you Keith. Very useful evidence if some IQ0 jumps out in front of you or heads towards you on the wrong side of the road!Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-74728907672927534412010-10-15T10:48:53.800+01:002010-10-15T10:48:53.800+01:00Lovely video of the Bramblings John.
