They spend so much time and energy trying to escape the little darlings they hardly get time to feed themselves.

Of all the birds I see others have visiting their gardens I think I can safely say that Parakeets are the ones I least envy. :)Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-56920522640111755742009-07-07T10:09:11.592+01:002009-07-07T10:09:11.592+01:00Thank you Unsen Rajasthan.Thank you Unsen Rajasthan.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-467048165033330542009-07-07T10:08:31.993+01:002009-07-07T10:08:31.993+01:00Yes Keith. As usual there were short breaks in the power supply as the storms crossed the Lincolnshire Wolds. But, the Parakeets are - they are deafening and, the Parents are now suggesting to their brood that it's time they looked after themselves! The main problem is they only stop yelling when they are asleep or can feed themselves. Mind you that must be less wearing than the chatter of parakeets in the south of the country from what what I have read.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-59781887026817951102009-07-06T08:42:36.301+01:002009-07-06T08:42:36.301+01:00With that volume of noise I am rather glad I don&#...With that volume of noise I am rather glad I don't have Starlings around here.mickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08230845410313320080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-29220144930941143292009-07-06T08:25:21.018+01:002009-07-06T08:25:21.018+01:00Thanks Adrian. It must put quite a strain on when they suddenly have more mouths to feed.
I think my local birds have found a local cherry tree judging by the number of stones under my feeders so you should be safe.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-1973436785878331132009-07-06T08:20:01.602+01:002009-07-06T08:20:01.602+01:00Hi Crista. I know there are starlings around, but not in my garden. Oh I put up a very special post for you today. Because of my bum leg I have been trapped in a chair in my backyard. I think I have mastered the action shots of Hummingbirds... :) As I said lots of time on my hands. HahahahCreative Cardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06142611735188744706noreply@blogger.com
