As you say these birds are easy to spot. We have a number of partial albino blackbirds that visit. They all have a slightly different pattern of white feathers. They nest nearby as I see the young birds visit the feeders and can watch theses white feathers emerge.

The Jackdaws are also fascinating to watch too. Very smart birds. I have one come looking for nesting material every year. It takes too much away and I can see it stuffing into a neighbour’s chimney! I move the basket of material around so it lasts for the blue tits and its fun to see it search it out ;-)Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12956905954971466579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-14317785753379883972010-02-16T12:44:35.437+00:002010-02-16T12:44:35.437+00:00Hello Roy. This one had been so dull and dreary. I don't mind the cold so much when there is sunlight to go with it.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-75612597821691180332010-02-14T20:34:12.346+00:002010-02-14T20:34:12.346+00:00Thank you Keith. I'm starting to, but 6-8 inches of snow are on the way tonight, so I guess I better stay happy with Old Man Winter for a while longer!Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02263405659108175434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-9998428521302093372010-02-14T17:35:53.080+00:002010-02-14T17:35:53.080+00:00Lovely shot of the female Blackbird John.

Thankfully we don't have any at the moment though it did try during our afternoon walk yesterday when we both got soaked through!

Those Jackdaws don't miss a thing and investigate everything. I'm sure I saw one the other day looking closely trying to solve a problem.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-32406986781716661862010-02-14T15:56:20.355+00:002010-02-14T15:56:20.355+00:00Hello Adrian.
