I never expected one to be used for nesting so it was just chance that I noticed the Wren.
I just wish the Great Tits would make their minds up to nest in the box. I must have a sneak peek at the Robin box to see if that shows signs of occupation.Midmarsh Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10980417659811194899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-63553296370614784272011-04-06T12:26:05.483+01:002011-04-06T12:26:05.483+01:00Absolutely beautiful photos John, such a treat to ...Absolutely beautiful photos John, such a treat to see them!

I have had two of those roosting pockets in the garden for a couple of years now and am pretty sure they have never been used for anything. I was thinking of getting rid of them but after seeing what has happened there I shall leave them. What a lovely and exciting discovery! I do hope the nest is successful and that we may see the results eventually.

I somehow missed your last post but have just caught up with and enjoyed it. Lovely photo of the Blackbird with the nesting material...it's all happening in your garden :)ShySongbirdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08148381873578585910noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8626959970978663576.post-9885086033490434932011-04-06T12:01:10.191+01:002011-04-06T12:01:10.191+01:00Thank you Adrian.
