Female Blackcap

Just another practice session with Elements. The original is somewhat grainy as it was taken in dull weather. Basically it was cropped, contrast enhanced, sharpened and then everything except the bird was blurred to make her stand out.

That could have been my last chance to photograph her as she only stayed for a couple of days.

    I like what you are doing with your new photoshop elements program. The bird is very sharp and the background a nice contrast.

    Thank you Keith. The background was already a bit out of focus. It was mainly softening the wood she was stood on as it drew attention from the bird.

    She is Kelly. A bit smaller than a House Sparrow but so dapper looking.
