First Sign of Roosting
Put the nest box camera on last night for the first time for quite a while and was cheered to see a Great Tit using the box as an overnight roost. Staking an early claim?

Thats a very wise bird John, I think its going to need that box this winter.
ReplyDeleteRoy: They didn't roost in the box last Winter and that wasn't too bad round here. They did the year before and that was a bad one. I hope it isn't trying to tell me something.
