Red Watches Brown

Once or twice each winter I catch a glimpse of a visiting Blackcap. This time it was a female which was being closely watched by a Robin.

      Roy. I did wonder whether the Robin would attack. In the end it was a Sparrow which scared the Blackcap away.

    I don't think I've ever seen a Blackcap. I'll keep a look out.

      Adrian. I don't see them very often. Usually in bad weather when food is scarce.
