Emmelina monodactyla

To you and me - a plume moth:

DSCN4309 Emmelina monodactyla

Spotted on the back door to the garage.
Easily recognised by its rolled up wings.
Wing span about 20mm

  1. That is a serious find. I have seen one and called it a T moth. Bee flies and posh moths you are having a good run.

  3. I don't like those plumes, they are scary! I prefer the pretty twenty plumes which are now coming into season. Very pretty little moth.
