This time of year I always keep an eye open as we pass one particular bungalow. Growing in the grass outside the fence there is a clump of hardy Cyclamen which became established some years ago:
Lovely to see the subtle colours at a time where nearly everything else is closing down for the Winter. I have tried several times to grow some at home but success has so far eluded me.

DeleteA little treasure, hiding in the grass.
ReplyDeleteWilma: They do hide, easily missed.
DeleteNot used to seeing it, but there is a fair bit around this year
ReplyDeleteSimon: I would love to have some in the garden.
DeleteBeautiful. We have a clump but they are the common pink ones. These are so much more subtly coloured.
ReplyDeleteWeaver: There is also a very small clump of pure white as well.
