Weird Wednesday

Wilma was on the right track, only it was a water lily:

    yellow sponge. on a blue plate or cutting board?
    the water lily is wonderful as the straight up photo, but the spiral of it is amazing.

    Would never have got the water lily :) Puzzling over current one for days - was going to say it is something like swirl of cream in a bowl of soup or cup of coffee but having seen Wilma's comment it does look more like a yellow sponge!
