More than a bit surprised when I was scanning the video captures to see what had been visiting the bird table. Born like it or the result of an altercation with a cat or another Robin? We will never know.
I've seen a few such tailles robins, and the odd tailless blackbird as well. WOnder how it affects their flying.
ReplyDeleteSimon: I've seen the occasional tailless Blackbird in the past but this is the first time I've noticed a Robin without tail feathers. I noticed it had to flap its wings a lot when hopping about so it must affect its balance.
