Great video of a very persistent Magpie! We see them in the garden but they are not too much of a problem with feeders/bird table. Round here it is Wood Pigeons that are a nuisance! Clever idea of yours on allowing small birds to feed.
RR: When the Wood Pigeons kept parking themselves for ages on the bird table nothing else got a look in. The 2 inch mesh is large enough for Starlings and Blackbirds to find a way in as well as all the small birds.
Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Any comment, or correction to any information or identification I get wrong, is most welcome. John
Not a bird I see this far north though they are heading this way.
ReplyDeleteAdrian: Hours of fun watching them work things out and investigate everything.
DeleteA valiant effort without reward. Your table seems to be working well.
ReplyDeleteWilma: It did manage to grab an occasional seed by reaching in.
