Congratulations to Ragged Robin and Kris who correctly identified it as part of

an orchid flower. In this case it was a phalaenopsis orchid.
My thanks to all who made a guess.
I wonder if anyone will be able to identify this week's mystery object

Please leave any guesses in the comments.
They will be revealed, along with the answer, next Monday.
Sheep horn.
ReplyDeleteA claw? (fresh or fossil?)
ReplyDeleteLooks like beach glass to me, part of a bottle? Thanks for the fun of this weekly game!
ReplyDeleteA broken section of horn?
ReplyDeleteThis week's is hard! Is it a fossilised tooth or claw from a velociraptor or a broken door handle? I am going to guess a fossilised tooth but I suspect I am totally wrong!
