This morning we had a few light showers of hard compacted snow then the wind started to increase. Air temperature by mid-day was about 2C but the bitterly cold wind from the North Sea was biting into any exposed areas on our walk-about.
Occasional gentle snow flurries this evening but none settling as yet.
Much the same here in the Dales John - let's hope it stays that way.
ReplyDeleteWeaver. I think we spoke too soon!
DeleteFreezing cold here today too with a biting wind! No snow yet but light snow showers forecast for tomorrow. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteRR: Am definitely staying warm and wearing lots of layers outdoors.
DeleteYou stay warm John. I'll not show my dogs Penny's jacket lest they want one too or two too.
ReplyDeleteAdrian: Remind your pooches they have nice thick fur. Penny has a very thin layer and thin skin. Not that the cold seems to bother her as she often goes in the garden for up to 10 minutes at a time. Bobby, the lurcher I had, would have been shivering after one minute outside.
