It was interesting yesterday morning to see a colourful Sunrise with the waning crescent Moon. As it was only 9% illuminated it was hard to get both to show in a photo:
May be difficult to spot but the Moon is near top centre.
John - I took photos of the same crescent about 7 hours after you took these! You photo is much more dramatic than mine, but check it out at: http://southenglishtown.blogspot.com/2016/10/dawn-in-three-parts.html. I included a link to your post.
Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Any comment, or correction to any information or identification I get wrong, is most welcome. John
Spectacular!
ReplyDeleteMick: We've had some really lovely Sunrises recently.
DeleteJust plain beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWeaver: So much depends on the type of cloud cover. This morning it was just orange all over, nice but no character.

ReplyDeleteWilma: So much depends on the sort of cloud to give the view a bit of drama. Many thanks for the link.
DeleteNice moonshot John.
