Sunrise with Crescent Moon

It was interesting yesterday morning to see a colourful Sunrise with the waning crescent Moon. As it was only 9% illuminated it was hard to get both to show in a photo:

May be difficult to spot but the Moon is near top centre.

    1. Weaver: So much depends on the type of cloud cover. This morning it was just orange all over, nice but no character.

  3. John - I took photos of the same crescent about 7 hours after you took these! You photo is much more dramatic than mine, but check it out at: http://southenglishtown.blogspot.com/2016/10/dawn-in-three-parts.html. I included a link to your post.
