Mr GT arrives with a juicy grub for Mrs GT but she had nipped out for a minute or so.
Fortunately she was at home the next time he dropped in with a meal for her.
Definitely Friday the 13th yesterday. Went to the fridge first thing this morning to find it warm! Must have conked out late yesterday. Zoomed in to town to buy a replacement as the other was quite old The new one has an A+ efficiency rating so that should save a few farthings on running costs.
nice blog. Great photography presented
ReplyDeleteJohn, this is becoming the best thing in blogland. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting and taking the time to leave a comment Gary
ReplyDeleteYou know the old saying Adrian: You don't have to be crazy to work here, but it helps.
ReplyDeleteLovely video John.
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine those words going through his mind too.
Great stuff, John. Hope your new fridge keep YOUR grubs fresh!
ReplyDeletecheers,

Hi John, its lovely to see Mr and Mrs GT and the eggs. We hope everything will continue to go well for the family.
ReplyDeleteHere, 2 starling fledgings arrived yesterday along with all the parents. They are the first we have seen this year. There is quite a racket already as the parents are squabbling over the suet candles and the babies just want to be fed, but from previous years, we know it will get even noisier as more starlings fledge and will demand attention :)
ps - very sorry to hear about your fridge. You are lucky that you could get it replaced so fast. We hope there was not much stuff wasted.
ReplyDeleteThank you Keith.
ReplyDeleteThe new fridge is working a treat Wilma.

ReplyDeleteI hope so as well Twosie.
ReplyDeleteThe Starlings here have been emptying the feeders in an hour or two. I think they are all feeding nestlings so no doubt the tribes will descend before too long.
I thought it would take days to get the fridge repaired and as it was old I decide to fetch a new one. Good job it fitted in the car or I would have been without all weekend. Nothing spoiled fortunately as I have a wine chiller I don't use any more and stuffed everything in that!
Thrilled you have (what looks like) a good nesting pair there John. Fingers crossed for success. We've missed out completely this year but on the positive enjoyed a success story last year.
ReplyDeleteIf that was a caterpillar on offer here it looks very promising! Love the captions... great idea. Enjoy :-)
Hello Shirl. This is the first time anything has nested in my boxes. The male feeds from the seed feeders but always brings her live food.
