Last year there was one particular Rook which could unhook the fat ball feeder so it was easier to get at the contents on the ground. Today I spotted this one trying the same thing though it couldn't quite work out how to get past the metal loop which doubles back on itself.
Hee hee, that's a great capture, caught red handed or beaked I suppose I should say :-) Give him time he'll work it out! I remember the one you had last year, so funny.
ReplyDeleteHello Jan. Last year one person down the lane gave up feeding the birds as all their feeders ended up on the floor every day. This year they are tied in place. I wonder if corvids can undo knots lol.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love their ingenuity?!!! wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThe corvids are always up to something Gerry - a delight to watch.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure he'll soon learn John.
ReplyDeleteSuch smart birds.
