One Clean Robin

I am used to seeing Robins visit the bird bath to have a drink but I think this is the first time I have seen one take a bath. By the looks of it I think this is one of this years brood. First it just stood in the middle of the water, then had a little splash about, stood some more, then more bathing and so on:

    Charming set of photographs John. They are rather cute little birds and it is interesting how we all love them so although they are actually very territorial and will fight to the death to protect their property.

      Weaver: Thank you. Popularity must have something to do with the way many follow gardeners around hoping they will dig up something to eat.
