Song Thrush

Once again a Song Thrush was belting out its varied songs in the twilight this morning.
Later on I saw it high up in one of next doors apple trees:

Those were taken through the kitchen window.
I moved the camera to get a better direct view with the intention of filming it.
As ever, as soon as it was set up and I switched to video it flew away.

    1. Simon: It actually needs more practice as the song was quite rough at times though it is probably just getting started this year.

  2. Lovely to see a Song Thrush - we only get occasional sightings in the garden these days and I do miss their song.

    1. RR: They used to be regular visitors years ago bashing the living daylights out of snails on the front path. Then they seemed to disappear for quite a while but the numbers seem to have recovered a bit these past two or three years.
