The miniature daffodils are a delight - so cheering :) We had our first frogspawn last week although I dread to think what effect the sub zero temperatures will have had on it :(
Daffodils are so cheerful and a delight to see each spring. We had huge naturalized beds of them at our house in Minnesota that should be blooming in another 4 to 6 weeks. I'm sure they are still there even though we aren't.
Your daffs are lovely John! Here in South Africa we are just-just starting to show signs of Autumn, but I don't think I'll be seeing the effect as strong here at the coast as I did inland on our smallholding. Nice day to you!
Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Any comment, or correction to any information or identification I get wrong, is most welcome. John

ReplyDeleteRR: I prefer the miniature ones. If nothing else they stand up to blustery winds. I'm sure my pond was frozen over the day before the spawn appeared.

ReplyDeleteWilma: Nothing beats the sight of a large bed of cheerful colour.

ReplyDeleteMaree: Coastal climate can be so very different to that inland.
