Monday Mystery

Some good guesses for last week's mystery object

Mystery 5a

I do have a couple of wheelbarrows but this

was correctly identified by Adrian, The Veg Artist, Kris, Ellen and A Brit in Tennessee as a garden cart / wagon / barrow. Well done and many thanks to all who had a go. I find it much easier to handle than the wheelbarrows. Less strain on the arms and I don't have to tilt it round corners or balance it when the load shifts. This version has a nice tipping action.

  2. I have never seen a garden cart John - what asplendid object. This week's is a bud of some sort - maybe something in the lily family judging by its leaves.

  3. Oh John, I can tell it is a flower bud but I am not good at identifying flowers so I will just guess that it is a tulip bud? Maybe I can get partial credit?

  4. Yah! You are going to have to make these more difficult Midmarsh, I can't be guessing correctly every time ;)
Looks like this weeks puzzler is a Lily pod, ready to burst open ?
Hope you have a great week.

  5. I'm going to guess it's a single bud on a hyacinth. Nothing can beat the fragrance of spring hyacinths. Cheers.

  6. It is a bud of some sort but which I am really not sure. Could be daffodil? But there again I am going for something exotic - amaryllis?
