Monday Mystery - Guess What

Another full house. Congratulations and the virtual Midmarsh Gold Star go to Adrian, Wilma, The Weaver of Grass and Ragged Robin who all recognise the pair of scissors in last week's mystery photo:

On to this week's mystery photo.
Guess What:

Please leave any guesses in the comments.
They will be revealed, along with the answer, next Monday.
No prizes, just for fun.

  1. This should give you a smile. Slugs on a paving slab.

  2. This week's is much harder John - I have absolutely no idea what it is.

  3. A microscope slide of very thin cut ice!

  4. Goodness - what an incredible photo. So pretty. Its like looking down a toy kaleiodoscope or down a microscope at a rock thin section and seeing all the minerals etc. Will come back to you with my proper guess in a few days when I've looked at it some more!

  5. Back again - I really am struggling with this one!! Think I can see an orange flower (nasturtium?) and is that a butterfly or moth nearby? I am going to place a really wild guess - moth on nasturtium flower. Can't wait to see what the answer really is!!

Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Any comment, or correction to any information or identification I get wrong, is most welcome. John
