Thank you for visiting and leaving a comment Jenny. Bobby has very poor eyesight and always needs to get close to see what is what. I think he already worked out not to get too close.
Hello Matron. Some years ago I had a Jack Russell which used to come in with his face covered in fleas from the hedgehogs but I've not found one on Bobby as yet. I used to sit on the kitchen floor picking at least 20 a night off and drowning them in soapy water. Apparently not all Hedgehogs have a vast flea infestation though they do have that reputation.
Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Any comment, or correction to any information or identification I get wrong, is most welcome. John
Delightful! It looks as if Bobby is very gentle.
ReplyDeleteWell Bobby stole the show as far as I'm concerned, absolutely no contest! What a sweetie he is :)
ReplyDeleteMm, must say I was expecting a prickled nose there so glad that there wasn't one....
ReplyDeleteDo make sure you check Bobby for fleas! Hedgehogs can be covered in them!
ReplyDeleteLovely encounter John.
ReplyDeleteHe is Mick, until they run away then he chases after them.
ReplyDeleteHe puts on a good act for public consumption Jan lol
