  1. We got soaked, yet again. I'm just making chicken and rice cakes for the dogs dinner. It looks as if it was a wise choice.

    1. Pleased it made you smile TexWisGirl. Penny has a really playful nature, a bit on the rough side but not deliberately destructive.

  6. What a lovely gift for Penny! I hope she doesn't think that the wild hedgehogs outside are just as cuddly ;) Oh, of course, she would know the difference...they don't wear Santa hats, do they?

    1. She thinks it is Glo, lovely that is. I'm surprised this one is still wearing its Santa hat.

  8. Long legs, long body, and successfully into a tight ball in the chair with her hedgehog and room to spare. She is a cutie.

    1. I'm always amazed how small a place some large dogs can fit in ImaBurdie.

  9. So how long did the Christmas hedgehog last? Is it still in one piece?

    1. Oh yes, Matron, still in one piece - even the hat. Her toys get thrown around and pounced on as she keeps her hunting skills honed but she rarely tries to pull them apart.
