OK. So the Buddleia Bush is usually known as the Butterfly Bush but my Globular variety has been attracting scores of bees so far this year so I have christened it my Bee Bush:
Roy: There were about three Red Admirals visiting but they were much higher up the bush which is about ten feet tall now. When my other bush flowers a bit later they should be attracted to that. There are less here since the nature vandals (cricket club) destroyed all the nettles which used to be at one end of their field. That area used to have scores of butterflies each year.
Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Any comment, or correction to any information or identification I get wrong, is most welcome. John
An interesting set. I think I prefer the carousel presentation but this is okay and easy to use.
ReplyDeleteAdrian: The previous carousel did give larger pictures. I'm not sure why these show smaller.
DeleteThe buddleias here provide the best butterfly photo opps locally, I always find!
ReplyDeleteSimon: Here they seem to prefer the other sort of buddleia which will flower a bit later.
Deletei'm with adrian. i liked the carousel better, too. :)
ReplyDeleteTWG: I think I do too.
DeleteShould be loads of Peacocks on them John, but the butterfly population is below par at the moment.
