Ripples in the Garden

 Rainy Day 2

The rain arrived about 3 a.m. and continued for 11 hours before settling down to scattered showers for the rest of the day giving a total of about 27mm (just over an inch):

With the ground already being saturated it wasn't long before parts of the back garden started to disappear under water:

There wasn't much to photograph apart from the ripple patterns:

Interesting but not very inspiring so I tried tarting them up in a few programs:

Finally a 'rabbit hole' effect in a tiny planet program:

  1. Sorry John, but whichever way I look at it it says rain - of which I am utterly sick.

  2. It has rained here but nothing excessive for weeks. It has been cold. The swamp in the forest has almost dried out.
I always enjoy a planet. It works well with the rain.

  5. Very artistic John.
Didn't we get an awful lot of rain in a short period.
