Shapes Collage, which is a free download at the time of writing, is an app for Mac OS X. It allows you to choose as many or as few photos as you wish and use them to build up the letters in words. It can work well as long as the word isn't too long and gives control over size of the pictures on the words but not the size of the text. The little pictures can have a variety of shaped borders if wanted along with an optional drop shadow.

I enjoy looking at these. I like to try and figure out how to do them. At first i thought of the clone stamp then desided it would probably be quicker to make a brush but that wouldn't give the different colours in the individual flowers. I 'll keep thinking.

DeleteJohn, the programming would be way beyond me but to get an image to follow a path is straightforward and text is made from curves usually. Blender curves are strange though. They are curves but special ones as you have to convert them to normal ones or meshes. I'll have to try and understand them. There is so much to learn.
