What a clever bird!
ReplyDeleteSandy: Song Thrushes use any hard substance they can find, stone, concrete path and even gravel this time.
DeleteThis is fascinating John - we never see a songthrush here these days and it is years since I saw one open its breakfast in this way.
ReplyDeleteWeaver: I often hear the tell take noise of a Song Thrush opening a new meal, usually on the concrete paths. Unfortunately they are becoming rarer.
DeleteA rare event to see nowadays John.
ReplyDeleteRoy: Unfortunately, yes. Though that said they have been around here for quite a few years.
