They really are rather splendid birds John in their very neat attire; what a pity they take other birds' eggs and even nestlings.
Weaver: At least it was doing a grand job keeping the soaring Wood Pigeon population under control.
Grand, I rarely see them here. Maybe one a year. They can be a pest but I do like crows.
Adrian: They are sometimes too bold and curious for their own good.
