A Red Morning

This morning was time for my 6 monthly visit to the local surgery for a blood test.
Not my favourite activity concerning anything red.

Fortunately to cheer me up I spotted  small clump of bright red poppies on my journey:

    I love poppies John, especially the wild ones. The trouble with cultivated ones is that they are glorious when they are out but only for a very short time and then for the rest of the time they are just straggly plants.
