Cypress Close Up

I cut a small section from my tall Cypress tree to take some closer photos.

Not sure whether the yellow background photographing nearer green is a symptom of the auto white balance in the M5 camera or the output from the LED lamp. Maybe a bit of both.

  1. Brilliant. Think I must look up some online courses for botany.

  2. This is looking good. I shoot RAW for everything except timelapse. I lock the white balance on daylight. It doesn't matter what it is locked on as long as it is locked. It is then easily corrected in post.

    1. Adrian. I'll have a look at the white balance settings.

    2. John, looking at this and wonder if the paper is a bit reflective. Were it WB then the leaves would be an odd colour.
