My pitcher plant is really taking off this year.
The new growths are about twice the size of last years.
The kitchen windowsill seems the ideal place for it.
A first use of the Mac app Tweak Color which enabled me to colour pop the plant and blur the background.
Weaver: Being a marsh plant it probably likes the more humid atmosphere from boiling kettles and saucepans as well as being away from too much direct sunlight.
Ellen: Partly the perspective though it is only the 3 inch pot it was in when I bought it. I though about re-potting it but decided to leave well alone while it seems to be thriving. Fortunately it isn't top heavy.
Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Any comment, or correction to any information or identification I get wrong, is most welcome. John
If this is a one click app then it's done a reasonable job.
ReplyDeleteAdrian: It is the usual 'paint' over the areas where the colour is wanted.
DeleteI love that plant John. You have obviously found the perfect place for it.

DeleteIt makes it look a bit 3-dimensional, doesn't it? Is the pot very tiny for such a large plant or is that an illusion?
