Had a dabble with a new layout.
For a while, while I was trying things out, I could alter the basic text size.
When I changed the background colour the text option disappeared which was annoying as I wanted to make it slightly larger. At least it appears to be easier to read on small screens.
P.S. Found the text change facility again. Just a question of clicking the correct drop down menu under Advanced.
I had a play a couple of months ago. I really ought to get comfortable using HTML but I find it very tiresome. This looks okay but I do prefer a dark background. This looks fine to me....Your header seems a bit short but apart from that I like it.

ReplyDeletePerfect John. The text is larger as well makes a big difference, looks very posh. The Radio contact list is a bit wide or the side bar a little narrow. I can't remember if it was like that before.
ReplyDeleteAdrian: Thanks. The QRZ thingy is a bit fiddly as I have to alter their code to try to make it fit. Might have to take off another 5 pixels or so for the width.

Then try the link. It maybe broken after all these years, I'm having internet trouble as no doubt the teenagers have just woken up but I can ask Mark to do it again. I do enough stuff for him and it works a treat, saves typing HTML code into replies which is a pain.
Looks really good and I like it very much. Thanks for the tips you left in a comment for me - very useful. I just have to pluck up courage now to experiment!
ReplyDeleteRR: Thank you. At least it doesn't look so bland now and should be more easily readable on most devices. Google kept moaning about the old one being difficult to use on phones. (text too small and links difficult to click on accurately)
