It took me a while to work out what is was. Eventually I was able to briefly see the tell tale yellow of a Goldfinch on its wings. The photographs were taken a day apart so there may well be more than one.

That's good let us hope it survives.
ReplyDeleteJuvenile birds are often very hard to identify. Its been a few weeks since I saw a juvenile Goldfinch on our feeders.
ReplyDeleteLets hope it keeps on coming to the feeder and builds itself up for the winter.
