Bright Eyed and Bushy Tailed

When I read a short while ago that Ragged Robin had installed a trail camera it reminded me to put a new set of batteries in mine and fix it up again. Going through the few captures it made this week I see that we had a night visitor a couple of times.

Most of the captures are of Penny watering the garden or local cats so it was great to see some real wild life visit. Unfortunately the camera was only set to take still photos. I have now altered the settings so it will take short video clips as well as stills.

  1. They are grand creatures but better suited to folk that don't have hens or ducks. I hesitate to say we shoot them.

    1. Adrian: I think it is attracted by the scent from next door's chickens. Fortunately they have secure night housing. Then there are the frogs in my garden which would make a tasty snack.

  2. Thanks so much for the mention. So glad you saw a fox on your trail cam. We have still only had grey squirrels! I did hope we had footage of a pair of jays recently but they must have been just out of range.

Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Any comment, or correction to any information or identification I get wrong, is most welcome. John
