It took me completely by surprise early this moring when the Great Tit babies started to leave the nestbox. I had expected one to go but in the end three left in less than a minute. Too fast for me to get the recorder started. The final one took a little longer and here is the moment it launched itself on the outside world:
Maybe I'll manage to see them around the garden in the coming days.
It's a morning of mixed emotions. They've been a great source of entertainment and interest. It's good to see them out in the big wide world.

They were much keener to year than last year's batch Keith.
