I have spotted some newts but so far they have been too shy to photograph.

  1. Garden ponds are such magnets for wildlife. I think every garden should try to find room for one. They don't have to be big either.

    1. They are Keith, and so relaxing for us. I can stand or sit for ages just watching what is going on. My first one was a small moulded plastic affair but it attracted frogs and newts.

  3. My first pond was a very old metal bushel basket with a tiny hole in it, and then the pond fever grew from there. Love the snail.

    1. It is lovely ImaBurdie to see what life is attracted by a water feature.

  4. John, a great thing to look at. I walk and don't look. Amazing what you have there and on your doorstep.
