During the present spate of dreary, drizzly weather I spent some time experimenting with the various ways of using the fill facility in Serif Affinity Designer:
Photo Scissors was used to remove the original backgrounds and provide a transparent area so each photo could be placed on a coloured layer.
Some great experiments John with excellent results.
ReplyDeleteThank you Roy.
DeleteAnother string to your bow.
ReplyDeleteAdrian: I avoided coming to terms with layers for years but they are so useful.
Deleteyou're having fun playing. :)
ReplyDeleteTWG: Definitely.
DeleteI really like the rainbowed and ombre backgrounds. Very effective.
ReplyDeleteWilma: For some subjects a cluttered background get in the way.
DeleteNice work! The fuchsia in your last shot, looks like a fairy ballet dancer ;) I thought you were very brave taking the photo of the moth on your previous post...knowing that they are not your favorite creatures.
ReplyDeleteGlo: Thank you. I particularly liked the fuchsia one.
DeleteGlo: Tiny moths outside aren't so bad. I can get out of the way easily. They are usually fairly dozy during the day.
DeleteI like! A lot :-) Finally organising my potting shed is where I've been on drizzly days :-)
