Acquired a new (to me) iPhone 6s recently and now I think I've won the battle to set it up the way I want it to work it is time to give the 12M pixel camera a try out. I was pleased it seems to focus right down to a couple of inches. These were taken with the Camera+ app as I am used to it and find it less confusing than the app which comes with iOS:
Rockery Dianthus
Chives
Clematis
These are as taken, no retouching or even cropping.
They are good. DSLRs will soon become a niche interest item.
ReplyDeleteAdrian: Possibly for many people though I couldn't do without a camera with a decent optical zoom.
DeleteGood pictures Phone nowadays have good cameras. I have a motorola G4 and I'm pleased with the photos from it. Chives have attractive flowers as do many herbs, our sage is in flower at the moment and looks good.
ReplyDeleteDave: Thank you. Phone cameras have come on by leaps and bounds these past few years.
DeleteBeautiful set of images with lovely colours. My daughter takes some good photos with her i-phone. Sage and thyme are in flower here - the bees just flock to them :)
ReplyDeleteRR: Not so very long ago the quality of phone cameras was a joke. Now they can give professional results.
