Monday Mystery

I only expected a general identification of last week's close up

IMG_0169c

which was correctly identified as

IMG_0169

an egg shell by Rob, Adrian, Kris, Ellen D and Ragged Robin. Well done.
To the best of my knowledge it was a Wood Pigeon's egg.

On to the next cropped view

of what?

Think you know? Please leave any guesses in the comments.
They will be revealed, along with the answer, next Monday.

  4. No idea John but as I switched on and last week's picture came into view I thought - that;s obviously an eggshell!

  5. I am stumped this week, John. It looks a bit lizard-like to me but I really have no idea! Glad I got the answer last week! Thank you!

  6. Really puzzling over this weeks!! But have just had a moment of inspiration - could it be the hindquarters of a frog! :) Could be a toad but I am going to guess hindquarters of a frog!
