Monday Mystery

At last it is cooling down a bit here as we head towards nightfall. Now 28C, down from a peak of 36.6C. Anyway, on to the subject of this post. Last week's picture:

DSCN1115

was correctly identified by Wilma - well done Wilma - as

DSCN1113c

containing a scented candle. My thanks to others who had a guess.

This time I have been looking outdoors for something different.

DSCN1128

This wheel is a small part of ...... what?

If you would like to make a guess please leave it in the comments. They will be revealed, with the answer, next Monday.

  1. A cart for a leaf collector.
Is the tar melting on your roads because it isn't up here? It's a lovely 20°C in the van but the aircon is costing a fortune to run. It must be hot in the town as all the ladies, young and old, are dressed in shorts. Some would be better not so attired.

  2. Well, that's weird - I made a guess last week (a wrong one) but it didn't show up in comments. I bet I forgot to click "publish"! Doh!
This week it looks like a soccer goal to me

  3. No idea really. It looks as though has a connection with sport although I suspect it is something in the garden such as moveable cage type thing to put in garden rubbish etc. But I am going to guess that it is part of one of those practice areas you get on a cricket field to practise batting. Look forward to the correct answer!
