Walking to the far end of the cricket field we had a look at the sheep grazing on the adjoining paddock. They were all busily eating until we got close then most eyes were on us:
Some nervous ones moved further away and after a minute all were back to the important thing in life - eating.
Watching and eating are what sheep do best when they aren't trying to commit suicide.
ReplyDeleteGood one, Adrian!
DeleteAdrian: They do tend to spook easily.
DeleteA great series of photos - but did you know that even your sheep look different from the ones around here!
ReplyDeleteMick: No I didn't. I assume over the years new breeds have been developed to suit your climate and vegetation.
DeleteYes John, eat and poo is about all sheep do I'm afraid but they do taste quite good when their turn comes.
ReplyDeleteWeaver: I agree they are tasty.
Deleteso, so cute!
ReplyDeleteThe cows came to watch us play cricket at Great Dalby. We were so awful, they soon wandered off again.
