Callistemon

As we came back from our mid morning walk I spotted this flash of red:

The first flowers on my Callistemon, bottle brush, plant starting to open.

    1. Mick: Thank you. I'm sure these plants have been cultivated over the years to be used to lower temperatures. Not totally frost hardy though.

  3. So pretty - I would like one of those. I have something a little similar but it is a pink flower rather than the red of your bottle brush plant.
